Last quarter we made movie trailers. My teammates are Lani, Shaday, and Denae. Our movie is called Snoopy George. It is about a wild guinea pig named George, and one day while he was exploring, he gets captured by kids and he becomes their pet. Yup, I know what you're thinking, and yes, it is a very cheesy/kiddie movie. I personally think that we worked pretty well together, we all said our opinions and we incorporated it into what turned out to be an awesome movie trailer. In our Trailer Plan document (picture below), it shows our movie synopsis, our voice-acting script, and our 5 scenes. I helped write the synopsis, and I helped a lot with writing the scenes. I also performed the voice-acting script that you hear in our movie trailer. Our trailer plan really helps with all of the filming that we had to do. |
After everyone finished their movie trailers, we had a critique session. We got voted on if it was made for the right audience (a.k.a. young elementary school kids), we got voted on our creativity, and we got voted on whether we completed all of the requirements. I think that our class rated us appropriately and I agree with what they voted on. We also got to vote for the best overall movie trailer, and Snoopy George got voted the best! Yay!! My team was voted as the overall best! I am so happy. My team is team 3. The votes are shown below.
This project really stressed me out. When we first started filming, in my head I was thinking, 'we would never be able to turn this into a movie trailer.' But once we started putting it all together, I realized that we are going to do a pretty good job. Now, we have completed it and we actually got voted the best for period 5! I can't believe how far we've gotten.
